Rear subwoofer Wiring

i was wondering if any body knows which wires on a 1997 expy rear sub are audio to the amp. i have drk grn/prpl, brn/org, red/black, lt grn/ppl, blk/lt grn.


I figured out that light green with purple is the power and black with light green is ground. now all i need to know is the other 3

Color of the wires really won't tell you anything. Since the wire colors can be any color. A thought would be to look it up in the owners manual and see if there is anything on it there. Or find out where each wire goes then go from there.

thanks man. thats going to help me a real lot getting my amp and sub working without ripping any stock wires out and without using any converters
