Its all about the size

Hello,

I am having difficulty getting an answer to a question about tire size. I have a stock 99 Exp. EB. with 265/70/17 tires and rim on it. I don't have the money at the moment to do what I am wanting with the suspension. But, I am needing new tires. And, I don't want the small size that is on there now. I was wondering if anyone new of the largest size tire I can put on that rim and fit in the wheel well.

Any suggestions would be awesome...Thanks

285/70-17 will fill the wheel wells no rubbing.
