Hi I am from a town called Uppsala in Sweden.
We bought a 2007 eddie bauer expedition this spring, and today it was time for a test-drive.
Me and my wife packed our dogs in the Expy and took a trip to the races (whippet race, short track 150 yard) and our youngest ***** run her second test race. She made 5 runs, passed the semi finals and won the C-final.
I was very very good trip today!!
The Expy is a perfect companion, its roomy for the dogs and stuff.
Ford Expedition is very rare here, most tahoe/suburban/escalades. Glad that we stumbled on a fine second hand Eddie B.

Welcome this is a great site.

Thanks! This site is extra valuable for me as a source for knowledge... not easy to keep an big american SUV here in Europe. So glad that I found expedition forum.com!

Welcome to the forum! I assume the truck was imported somehow by the previous owner, as dealers don't sell this model in Europe, right? How are gas prices in Sweden? :)

Sv: Hi from Sweden

Welcome to the forum! I assume the truck was imported somehow by the previous owner, as dealers don't sell this model in Europe, right? How are gas prices in Sweden? :)

It was a swedish guy who was working in california that bought it new... he took the exp and mustang home in a container when he moved back to sweden. Full documentation!
Gas price... the double compare to the US :)
The insurance is horrible because of its status as an imported US car. I will have to negotiate with the insurance companies and try to squeeze down a little bit more.

Another things that are a bit annoying is the navigator... seems hopeless to convert to Europe maps. The roof DVD is tuck to region 1 dvd:s. But no biggie... my Samsung Note II act as a superior navigator, and I don't spend so much time in the back seat :)
