Does anyone ever experienced their seat warmers not turning on? It's been like 2 weeks now and I have no idea why the warmers haven't functioned at all and also the cooling hasn't worked either but who cares about that, it's winter and I'd like to get in my truck in a warm seat. When I press the button it'll stay on for like a second but then it'll go off.

Hi 1mpg,

Have you been to your Ford Dealer for diagnosis/repair? You may locate one here.

Let me know if you have questions.

Ford tech support: Very helpful post. Glad you are here.

to the OP. Did you check all the connections under the seat to make sure all the plugs are seated correctly? I would start there and work back to the switch however I would guess it is something in the seat. Do the power seta functions work.

Are all those plugs located under the passengers seat? The power seat functions still work perfectly fine whoever the rear view wiper motor hasn't worked in a while. If I remember correctly the wiper went out first, it would just get stuck half way up so I just stopped using it and think it's just a bad motor. Could it be an electrical issue that's causing the warmers and rear wiper motor to not work like they should?

I have not been to a ford dealer as the wife is the primary driver of the truck and by the time we both get home it's too late. I will look up the connections today (if they are the ones under the seat) and check the fusses also. I'll keep you guys informed

The climate controlled seats are powered thru fuse #8 so check that.
( The rear wiper use fuses # 19 and # 43 so the seats are NOT on the same circuit)

The DCSM ( dual climate controlled seat module ) is mounted under the passenger seat. ( circled in photo - arrow points to where its gets mounted )

Usually the problem is the ground wire or the module itself. Unfortunately the dealer may be the only one who can diagnose it.
