tires for expedition

we just bought a 2007 expedition. Have ordered pirelli scorpion tires...will we be happy?

My wife's X3 has the Scorpions and we are pretty pleased with them. Was there anything wrong with what came on the Expedition that warranted replacement after only a year?

If it's still the Continentals Contitracs, those things suck.

thank you for your input.....the tires that are presently on it have got the sidewalls slashed...apparently the slashes dont contribute to any wear but we are just leery...

Yeah, that is why I asked the question. I have these on the '06 I just got and they are horrid. The road noise is so bad I thought I had a bad wheel bearing on the front and took it in only to find out it was the tires. Unfortunately, I can't see replacing tires that have a good 30,000 miles left on them so I will have them for a couple of more years. Hopefully I will get a summer set of wheels soon so I can use the Conti's only in the winter.

Had thm on our '98 and LOVED them.
