The seller says these running boards should fit '97-'02
Can anyone advise

I need them to fit a '97.
Were yours factory installed or did you install?
Do you have any pics because I can't seem to see where and how they mount.

as a follow up. I bought these OEM steps for only $60 with hardware and they fit perfectly.
All the bolt holes lined up except for the middle support which I had to drill.
Look great on my GF's truck and she love's em since she's only 5"2'
