I would like to know what's better for low to mid range torque. I won't be racing the truck or anything I just want more get up and go. I barely go above 3k rpm.

Which would y'all use the pro charger or supercharger? I want it to be stealthy if that makes since. Nothing too loud and the whining if it can be quieter

I just read that my bad. But which is the quieter of the two and which will provide better low end to kid range torque and power?

Honestly? .... I have no idea I just always have seen a supercharger under the hood and admired the look of it but you could find out more if you look these up I'm sure someone has done many different things with ford's V8

Good luck!

some P.I. heads and intake with a tuner should give you some more get up and go for less.

Procharger is a company that makes superchargers. They make centrifugal style superchargers. They're rpm dependent on making boost. Meaning you won't make max boost until redline. They can make decent torque, but you have to spin them hard. Harder then our stock engines could handle.

For torque stick with a positive displacement style. That's the one that came on the Lightnings and 03/04 Cobras. And the style that Kenne Bell and Whipple make. For mine I was looking at the Edelbrock E-Force, but I don't have $7,000 laying around.

I'm going to supercharge it using the roots style or twin screw style whichever is quieter of the two for a more sleeper performance. What all parts do I need to get outside of the supercharger and Intercooler setup?

All PD blowers are quiet at idle. Depending on how hard you're spinning it and what brand will depend on how loud it is under WOT. The Kenne Bells used to scream, but they've since changed the blowers so they're not as loud. Whipples are quiet until you start spinning them hard. Look up toms89 build. He did a full eaton swap on his. That'll tell you what all you need. Getting a kit would be the easiest way to go.

Then you didn't have a good set up. Mine kicks you in the ass as soon as you floor it.

I had a vortec v2 s trim. I just hated how linear the boost was. I was boosting 9psi at 7k with the stock 3.4 pulley and the car was putting down 428hp to the wheels. When I had my lightning ,that was instant boost with the eaton. I also had a srt4 with a 50trim big turbo and the boost was almost instant with hitting 25psi by 3k rpm.

Here's my observations on centris....

99% of the people that run them run low boost. That makes them lazy on the low end. When you start spinning them harder and get into the efficiency range they produce more low end torque.

This is just what I've noticed. I've ran a D1, a T trim, and currently an F1A. My D1 was at 14psi and the torque graph looked like a twin screw.
