Is there a common coolant leak spot on passenger side rear of the motor?

How bad do you want to fix your leak? The best and proper way is to pressurize your system. You'll need a Stant or similar pump, and pressurize cooling system. Here's the kicker. When you pressurize you will bring out the weak links, like hoses, water pump, radiator. You get the point. But if a part is failing, or ready to fail, the leak will come out of that spot. Like I always told customers in the past, are you ready to fix your problems financially. You can poke around guessing, and sometimes stop your leak. But pressure testing is the only pro way to fix your leak. Hope that helps.

Have to disagree with your statement Pressure testing will not fix the leak.

However pressure testing WILL FIND THE LEAK

Fixing it is something different

i have all the funding i need to fix this. i have the time as well. i have looked for the leak even when its running and pressurized. im not dure if it could be a head gasket or not. i cant reach back to the rear of the head. any way of being able to look around therewithout pulling the engine or the intake off that was a pain.

well i also dont want to waste that brand new gasket by removing everything again to look back there and think its the head gasket but end up being something else because it leaked over there and jump to conclusions. i was wondering what all coolant wise runs over there to check

No

but in my opinion any leak in an expedition is in a common area being they all share the same parts and they all seem to leak in the same spots at different times

i have checked the line connection from the throttle body to the hard line under the intake and the heater connections but have not checked where that hard line goes off to from under the intake or the auxilary heater hoses because i have no clue where they route off to

The best one was by Michael Douglas in the film American President when he said

"being President of these United States is entirely about character"

Although we have Two CHARACTER's running for President neither one of them have any CHARACTER

Boy ain't that the truth! I like the way trump touts about getting all the jobs for the lower class workers, when all he ever knew is how to make millions. He's probably never worked on a car/ truck! I'm so surprised he didn't burn out 6 months ago. Scary with him with the bomb keys!

Howdy all. I have a 99 with the V10 engine. I have a coolant leak on the rear passenger side of the engine, like most other folks on this line. I changed the heater core last night, all hoses look good, everything on the top of the motor looks dry. The drip was back this morning though. It is a pretty steady drip. It seems to be running down the passenger side tire well. I have been under the truck but can't really track where it is coming from. I am going to take the tire well plastic off this afternoon. Any suggestions on where to look? Same original symptoms as most other. Fog in the truck, burn antifreeze smell, and there was coolant in the case for the heater core.
