what works best to remove all the little rust spots all over the chrome bumper, i wand to clean these up a little, for now till new bumpers are ready, i may even end up painting the crome to match the body paint, but need to do something about the rust

Depends how bad it is. If it's just rust spots ON the chrome, use some chrome polish like Turtle Wax. If it's rust coming from the bumper THROUGH the chrome, sanding is the only way to get that off.

looks like grinding it out will be the option, as soon as weather warms up, i will be building my new bumpers, just to dang cold here now, so ill grind them out and paint them black to match the plastics that are getting repainted to

walmart has a stainless/chrome/aluminum cleaner it comes in a powder and cost about a dollar...it is in the kitchen cleaner section works excelent just use warm water and your hand and run with some pressure dont use anything abrasive as it will damage the chrome
