rear SIDE glass...

...k people,those 2 posts in the rear left and right side BEHIND the rear side glass..behind back doors.

those posts are covered in black tin like material. mine are in bad shape....

need to remove that glass(side glass in rear. mine dont open so.......ANYONE take this glass off before. was curious b4 i go taking panels from inside.

i think glass was broke on expy i got these from...dont remember but i dont remember bolts for sure....or what held them ON....:rolleyes:

bonded? like glued in....probably sits on something like a...small edge,lip.

bonded means similar to glues on? maybe with clips?

the black post covers i belive is what you are talking about at the rear between the hatch class and the quater glass is rivited on i was looking at mine cause they don't look that good and they wouldn't be hard to remove and i don't see why the glass would have to be removed unless your quater glass doesn't pop out like mine?????

nope....mine doesnt open like some..... theres rivits there,behind glass.

Why not just repair them in place, or are they too heavily damaged? You should be able to do some sand, filling, and painting without taking a chance on damaging the rear glass.

no....u cant sand them....there like a tin material...like i soda can. think window was broke before...thats how it was put on....rivets dont look original...other side there black...bad side there silver so.....

i dont know....got a month b4 painting it. need to replace it. be a shame not to change it with new paint.

gonna go to yard of my friends and try to see if theres a expy that doesnt open....last 1 he got,windows opened in rear so....thats where i got these nes covers 4 post.

gottem ALL...like new too...
