Hello,

Everytime i slow down and start to park my Expedition, it squeeks. I thought maybe i needed it lubed but it appears to only squeek when i turn the tires either way? Its a loud squeek so i didnt think it is the power steering pump?
Do you guys know what it is? Thanks

If it more of a squeal, then it's the PS pump. If it's louder close to full turn, that is likely the cause. Check your fluid and see if it's low. If not it may be the pump going bad.

if the componets are still in good shape you use a grease incertion needle to lube them with and prolong the life but if there wore out replace them

Mine sounds more like squeeking but it does makes the noise when i am basically sitting there and slowly parking, when I am on the move, no noise. Im gonna check the fluid and then see if it makes noise when i just turn the steering wheel. What cost more to fix, power steering pump or ball joints?
