I agree they are... I have the same set as you have on my 2003 and love them! Then when I sell my 03, I will put the originals back on and keep them for a newer Expy.

Those mirrors look great! My wife has been asking me for a set of towing mirrors for her 17 xlt. Thank you for posting and trying it out for everyone. I did take the door panel off last week to see if I could install the mirrors from a 11-14 generation F150 but I found that the male/female connectors were backwards. Here is my question for you, when I took the panel off and disconnected the mirror, there were 2 wiring harnesses coming out of the mirror area, one black one that was the power mirror and a gray one. Did you see this also in yours? I have no idea why that other one would be there other than the speaker in the top of the door. Any thoughts? I will be buying those mirrors, no more leaps of faith when I change lanes towing my trailer.

FYI, the bodies of those mirrors are clones of F150 factory options, and as such can be fitted with Dorman F150 Chrome Replacement Caps

Otherwise the dang things are near-invisible and liable to get whacked off imho

You're welcome. More than likely you're looking at the plug for the key pad on the door. Do you have that entry option?
The only thing they're missing IMO is the blinker. I have the one pointed towards the rear, but the one that's usually on the edge pointed forwards was always a nice feature on my F350.

I do have the keypad. Its the greatest thing about Fords! I'll be buying those mirrors as well and installing them. I thank you for your help.

My pleasure and thank you for putting up with my Marine brothers running rampant around Fallbrook! ;-) Spent a few years there myself.

I know this is an old thread, but I know mirrors were an issue for me for a long time. Every time I towed with my 07 Ex, I missed the dumbo mirrors from my 05 F350. I finally found the mirrors that kleinzach posted above for relatively cheap money. I ended up at $238 for the pair (link below). Power, memory, heated, puddle. Manual folding/telescoping obviously.
Even the manufacturer will tell you they won't work on a 2017 Expy. Uh, WTH fruitcakes? Don't like the extra sales? See pic below of my 17 Ex. They fit perfectly and are fully functional.
She's waiting for her new Iron Bull bumper in a week or two...

Thank you for this info. its EXACTLY what I was needing for towing our 24 ft enclosed car hauler with our 2017 Limited. Can't see anything but the trailer itself with the stock mirrors.

I like these alot, but not finding any with these features plus the power-fold option. I can do without the power telescoping, but will only swap mirrors if I can get the power-fold.

What year of F-150 Tow Mirrors will fit our 2015-2017 Expys?
