Another post brought this to mind. I recently did the brakes on my 2000 AWD Expy. I had to go to 6 different stores to find a rotor that was not 23 bucks and made in China. AutoZone, Pepboys, Advance, NAPA, a couple of local joints all carired this junk and stocked nothing better!? O'rileys is the only one that carried a decent set of USA made rotors with USA metals in them.

Popluar Mechanics has issued warnings about these as well.

BTW: I had a little shimmy in the truck at higher speed and could not figure out what it was. Had new LTX's put on, the works. Turned out the back rotors where orginal (120,000 miles) warped but in good shape for 10 years old. Replaced the rear rotors, rides like glass.

i dont have pics... and its raining outside... but I'll put it on my list of to-do things tomorrow... but as I have said I've had them on since last fall and no problems and they have been stopping my 37s and it is my daily driver probably 7-9K miles on them so far.... I'll buy them again when I need new brakes...

and no SS brake lines thats on the "list" too as well as programmer, 4.88s, headers, re-do exhaust, and SAS....
