Well its new to us. And the dealer still has to paint it (fix bad clear coat). Anxious to get out and learn more about it.

Its a well equipped (I think) 07 Eddie Bauer with 126,000 miles on it. We paid 10,000 for everything. Truck, taxes, fees, tags, and the to be finished paint.
And thanks for the comments.

I'm already getting a list of things for the dealer to look into. The foglights don't work, and the turn signals in the mirrors don't work. Are these common problems with an easy fix? Neither of them are what I'd call a "deal breaker" but I'd like for them to work. Also discovered that a plastic shield under the radiator is missing. I can see the attachment points but no shield. But as I don't know what it is called I am having a hard time doing a search for it.

I plan to use it mainly as a daily driver and as a tow rig for our camper. I used to use our 2000 Eddie Bauer Explorer 5.0 to tow it. At 3500 lbs the camper was well within the capacity for the Explorer, but it still felt like it had to work hard to do it. The Expedition should tow it with ease. It does have the factory tow package, and already has a trailer brake controller mounted.

Traveler, looks like you got a good deal. I also like that two-tone color combo!

Assuming yours has a 3.73 axle ratio and a 4x4, you’ll be able to tow up to 9000 lbs. A far cry from what your '00 Explorer could do (been there with my Mountaineer).

Congrats on your purchase! Good luck!

I also just “upgraded” to an Eddie Bauer except mine is an EL. My previous was an XLT. The Eddie Bauer adds a lot for sure.

Sunroof, dual tone leather, COOLED SEATS!, subwoofer, etc. My passenger side mirror turn signal has bulbs out as well so I’m curious on that. Congrats pretty truck!

Ended up with another 07’ Moose. I was shopping mostly newer ones but this one came up and was in great shape and without rust so I took it.

In better shape than most 2010-11 models I saw. I’ll post up pics in my thread later this week.

Cool. I love my old 2000 Eddie Bauer. Can't even imagine how much nicer 40 more horse's, and 2 more gears must be. Let's hope the past owner took as good of care as you did with yours. How many miles does it have?
