Just joined the group a few days ago, to check out some of the recall information and common issues, tricks and maintenance items.
We purchased a 2022 XLT 202A Equipment Group.
(ActiveX "leather" all seats , power adjustable w/memory heated/cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, power folding seats)
No moonroof , fixed running boards, and it is RWD only.
The only "must have option" for this vehicle was the adjustable pedals, as my wife is 5'0" tall.
We lucked out and got this reasonably optioned model with the Pedals...I had called probably 6-8 dealers across 3 states, trying to find a sub-$40k used XLT or Limited with the adjustable pedals.
The guys at our local dealer when we pulled in for the Extended Warranty pre-inspection, were super suprised that we found an XLT with the adjustable pedals. Per the catalogue it wasn't an available option for 2024 XLT.
One interesting feature.
Our XLT was special ordered without the START/STOP ignition system.
I really appreciate this.
My Father-in-law has 2019 Ranger Lariat and the start/stop is annoying.
It's been great so far....a solid family hauler with lots of comfort and standard features, despite being a lower trim level.
My wife really appreciates driving a bigger vehicle than her old 2014 Honda Accord that this replaces, especially when driving on secondary roads.
We've done one beach trip so far from North Alabama to Gulf Shores and the XLT handled it like a true champ.
Everyone was comfortable and safe on each 5 hour road trip leg.
Looking forward to interacting with everyone.
I'll try to get some good new pictures to upload and share.
PS has anyone done Cold Air Intake Mods on the base 3.5L TT (380HP) motor?
I contacted Roush and they said the 3.5L standard cold air intake would not work?
I have Roush intake on my 2013 F-150 5.0L and love it.
