Would you purchase the 75k warrantee and/or 5 year/10 visit servicing package for a 2015 EL limited with 38k miles on it from the dealer (autonation ford)?

Are there cheaper options for the warrantee?

The 6 year/75k warrantee was $4400 and the 5 year/10 visit serving plan was $550

What does that cover and is this a Ford warranty or some other in-house insurance plan? The example vehicle in your thread is close to (or over) four years in-service, so this price only gains around two years coverage. I think that 38K miles is the reason for the higher cost. Most of the Ford prices are contingent on a vehicle still under the 3-yr/36K mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. In that case extending to 6-yrs/75K miles should have been around $1,200, depending on added years and miles and remember Ford warranty plans all start logging miles at '0.'

Look at Lombard Ford online. They offer genuine Ford dealer warranties at prices far lower than most dealers. All the paperwork is on line too so you can see what you are getting. I got a 4 year, 150K powertrain warranty on a 2010 Explorer from them for $1300.

I’ve looked into floodford and Lombard. They were both way cheaper than the dealer but we couldn’t do floodford since our vehicle is over 41 months old?

Yup. I just purchased the 8 year/125000 mile Premium Care from FloodESP for $2400.00. Lombard was a little higher, and the dealer in CO where I bought the vehicle wanted north of $3000.00 for a 5 year/100k mile plan (through Ally Financial).

Thanks again @cmiles97 for the intel in my other thread!!
