Installed the raptor wheel. Really like it a lot, it feels much better, more ergonomic, feels way better quality, like I think it should have been in something like a plati. Incredibly easy install, if I didn't have to swap buttons it would have only taken 20 minutes. But with the raptor buttons, things didn't work right.

So I had to pull it apart again and swap the buttons. Plus the gray plastic on the raptor wheel didn't match the rest of the trim in the car, I also need to adjust it a bit, it's off by a few degrees.

I had originally wanted to replace the red stripe vinyl with a gray, stripe, and I watched plenty of videos of people doing it, but when I took a closer look at the stripe, the stitching is continuous and I don't want to screw up the rest of the wheel, guess I will get used to the red. Sucks. I already spent money on the marine vinyl and thread.

They clear the rear hubs. No trimming needed there. Staying safe & installing LT285/65R18s on them. General ATX tires. (The speedometer recalibration cap is why I stayed small | 33.1”).

My OEM rims (18”x8.5”)

WOW! -12’s will be interesting to see. How much of the wheel was outside the body?

Nice, I have +12’s love the look but hate the rubbing and crap all down the sides. Your -12 will be almost a inch farther out.

I am on stock suspension so cant go big yet. Had 35x12.5's on my F150. I ordered the Hellwig front/rear sway bars last week, playing the waiting game for when they arrive. Then I will go the Bilstein route for a small lift until another company starts making real lift kits for the 4GEN.

That chart doesn’t look to take in consideration going from the stock +44 to your -12’s. That like 2.2”.

You wanted “Poke”, you got it. +18’s are the sweet spot. My +12’s with 35x12.50x20’s. Your wheels will be out almost a inch more. Minus the tire width difference.

I'm cool with the amount of poke you have there so if mine with the 11.2" wide tire looks close to that I'm happy. Thinking of maybe returning these rims now...once you mount tires on them you own them says the company I got them from in TX.
