I'm nowhere close yet, but I'm decoding the Keyless Entry Code with the number list. IMO, this is a scam perpetrated by the dealers to scam over $100 and also takes over an hour to accomplish. It's a 5 digit code stored in memory. We are talking microseconds(milliseconds if still on dial-up) here. Am I missing some obscure law? Why shouldn't the legal owner, with proper ID, have almost instant access to that code?

There are a couple of laws passed that require manufacturers to make certain service data available. That's why other companies can make "Ford enhanced" code readers. The door codes and key codes are indeed a scam, but you have to stay one up on them with an updated computer system like Forscan to beat them at their game. It's not easy and it's not 1974 anymore.

Did you check all the usual physical locations for the code?

If no luck there, does Ford still do OASIS reports? My code was on the OASIS, which my dealer ran for free.
