no 4 lo or hi

hey names terry i was trying to climb a pretty steep hill almost to top was in 4 lo and romped on gas was pulling then all went bad grinding and clunk and rolled backwards still works in 2wd normal but 4 hi and lo no go not sure about awd does anyone know what broke in tc

Year, trim and engine size will hell when posting.
