Hi, ordered a 2022 Expedition 4wd Stealth 303a package. It's black so I figured I didn't need to spend extra $$ and get the 304a performance package. But now I heard they have diff HP ratings. Is this accurate ? I thought they both had 440HP . Thanks

Correct, from the order guide 303a Stealth Package is basically just styling changes. 304a is the Stealth Performance package which is different engine, Sports tuned suspension, red calipers, different final drive ratio, 22-speaker sound system.

This is from the Order guide. Can also find the guide with a search on here. The engine change is in a different section. Limited and Stealth have same motor. Timberline and Stealth Performance have same motor.

400 for 303A, and the performance pack is 440 horse
Thanks !! I took the 303a and removed auto start/stop. I figured it was black so the stealth performance didn't add much as the exterior trim would be painted black to match body color.. don't need the 22 speakers or red calipers. Has more HP then my current 2015 Suburban and must weigh a lot less . Haven't driven a Ford since my 98 Expedition Eddie Bauer.

You’d be surprised weight is close to the Suburban. The Expeditions always ran heavy, the steel body extendeds are over 6,000 pounds. I believe they saved about 300 pounds going to aluminum which lines it up pretty on par with where the Burbs ran. Either way the extra torque on the EcoBoost will make it feel much lighter on its feet.

The only thing that really excited me about the 304A was the HP. I just couldn’t justify $5k after tax for 40 more HP. So we ended up ordering a 303A after much deliberation. I believe the sport tuned CCD is the same between the two per the guide.

They both come with Sport Tuned Suspension. The CCD is an option. Exactly how big of a difference does it make ? I'm mostly combination of city/ highway never off road.

Yeah, Sorry about that. I now see sports tuned suspension is also in 303A in Order Guide.

Also remember, when Tuned there is not much difference between the Motors. They end up REALLY close to each other in power if you are going to go in that direction anyway. REALLY weird that a performance package dos not add the ELSD!

So the 303a Stealth package that has 400hp will be less powerful with the CCD suspension ??

Although in the order guide. (XL, XLT, Limited/ Stealth Edition and King Ranch) are all grouped together. Which is opposite of the spec sheet. But that section of the order guide has all sections marked TBD. So that is slightly concerning.
