Now that Ford has set up both the retail and "Plan" web site for the 2022, I've been able to configure a 2022 build on the retail site, but while assisting a fellow MCA member (older and not computer savvy) yesterday, I was unable to get the "Plan" site (IE: A/D/X/Z) to load completely so that I could assist them with their "X" plan configuration.

Anyone else with access running in to the same issue?

Thanks in advance,

Bill

I was having the same issue. My question related to this is I was at the dealer yesterday and was going to order. Dealer agreeded to use x plan but told me he can't see x plan prices and wouldn't know the price until I got a vin. Is that true the dealer can't see prices?

You were fed a line of baloney, when I ordered my 2022 last month, I watched the order being input, actually gave him the codes to input to make it easier on him, I saw both retail pricing, along with the A/D/X/Z plan pricing at the bottom of my quote. Two days later I went back and amended my order to add the 50T "Special Edition" package, got an updated quote with the same at the bottom of the order.

How did dealer agree to give you X-plan pricing if you did not have a X-plan PIN to validate and input your order under?

I told them I have a pin and they agreeded to use it but then said they couldn't give me a price until it gets a vin because Ford doesn't actually know how much it will cost until it gets built. That was the exact line they fed me. They also told me the xplan pricing website is wrong for the same reason.

It's easy. Dealer isn't being straightforward or is clueless.
It's a preset price from the Ford system.
There is a standard document/form that shows the pricing. Find a new dealer if they're going to try to bait and switch you.

That's what I was thinking. It just gave me a bad feeling on them.

Where in North Carolina are you located? Might be worth a trip "elsewhere", I recommend calling ahead to see if they will take a X-Plan order. Some dealers, for whatever reason, feel that making 8% (you pay 2% over cost, Ford kicks back an additional 6% to the dealer for taking the order) on a sale is not worth their time....Yes, really.

Hmm, that's funny. I just sent my dealer an email with the options i wanted and told them I have xplan. They sent me the MSRP, Invoice, Xplan and Aplan price. Your dealer is not being honest.
