Whick models are all wheel drive..Which models can you pick 2 wheel or four wheel?

I'm just trying to figure out which models have what drivetrain..Are there any models that you decide if you want 2 or 4 wheel drive?

I know from 99-02, the 4wd/awd models did not have a 2wd only switch, I also know that all 4wd models are awd. Its either a 2wd rig, or a 4wd/awd rig, no matter if it is an EB or an Xlt.

my 98 has 2wd/4wd. so i guess 97-98 has 2wd a4wd 4hi 4lo.

Yeah, those bastard engineers should have given us 99-02 models the same choices, because they did change it back to 2wd only in either the second or third gen X's.

yeah believe me i feel for you guys. cause i love my 2wd. trying to see how far i can push it with that only. sometimes 4wd is necessary. haha i go threw the dunes all day in 2wd and 15 psi. but sometimes i need 4wd to climb a steep dune.

yeah. i drive around in 2wd. but when its raining i switch to a4wd. 2wd saves a little more gas but if your looking for a tank this size then gas isnt a top priority. i like the safety of this thing and its paid for.

Yeah gas mileage isn't an issue with me at all....6 Kids....I drive a suburban now...
