So my BFG Ats were toast. They had 55,000 hard miles on them, towing, wheeling, etc. I liked them, but the ride seemed to get harsher and harsher over time for some reason. They had cracks in the carcass between the treads and had some pretty good tearing and chunking but none in the sidewalls.
Anyway, did some side work and after a ton of research, purchased a set of Hankook Dynapro MT size 285-75-16 (33-11.5-16) same as my BFGs. Perfect size for stock height, very little rub.
These tires are awesome! Way quieter than they look like they would be. So aggressive looking. I bought them on Saturday and wheeled them on Sunday, the nubs were still on when I aired down. All trail pics are at 25 psi F/R.
Pics when brand new

Then this happened!!

Check out them sidewall treads

Good sidewall flex, especially for an E rated tire

If anybody says Expeditions can't flex, they're wrong. No lift, cheap shocks, and 33s.

The bumper about 6" off the trail

The aftermath. The black streaks are from rubbing on the slippery roots that stick out on the side of the trails.

Hope you enjoy, that took way too long!!
