Phone button not working

When I push the phone button nothing happens. In my f150 it pops up the last person I called. It's the button on bottom left.

Hook up a scanner to the obd2 port and run a complete vehicle scan checking every available module for any faults.

Thats step 1 for troubleshooting

What does your manual (or the online manual) say about the function of that buttton?
