Hi everyone - I’m looking for options for two different things, but both revolve around black out the chrome on my 2024 ford expedition stealth mode. I want to black out my ford emblem badges and also the chrome strip right below the windows. Anyone know any good options for those? I’ve looked online but wasn’t confident in any options. Hoping I can just order something vs taking it to a shop. For reference I’m in Austin TX

If I were here, you would know it !
I seem to recall several threads on this, or at least mentions of it in other threads, so I'm sure if you do a little searchin, you can find it....

IIRC, most of it revolves around some brands of vinyl or plastic wrap film/material (some of which is made by 3M, among others) that is used for exactly what you are wanting to do :)

Our Stealth came with black emblems, so you could probably find them aftermarket or order OEM. As for the chrome belt line, you can use paint protective film (ppf) or vinyl wrap material. We opted for PPF because it has a longer usable life than the wrap material. Neither will last the life of the vehicle, so just plan on doing it again at some point.

Get some 3M Gloss vinyl wrap and you can do it yourself for way cheaper than taking it somewhere. Straight edges aren’t too hard to do. Use some heat to get the corners tight. Some shops charge way to much.

but the rear has still a lot of chrome in it. I suppose he wants to delete all chrome.

Try this for the Ford emblem. This is what I have on my Stealth.

I have black lettered expedition across the back, limited, in the lower left cornor, also black There is chrome around the ford emblem which is black, like the front. Just like the decal that East-TN refrenced. The only other chrome is at the bottom of the rear glass.
