Another issue I am having is that my check engine light sometimes comes on for a while but goes out. Sometimes it flashes and sometimes it's steady, but once I come to a stop, it goes away. The guys at the parts store said they can't scan it unless it is on when they do it.

I was thinking of getting a Bluetooth ODB adaptor and running an app on my DROID.

Would this work? Has anyone used one of these?

I was considering doing that too. Didnt wanna pay for the real deal american made one, but also havent really felt like risking one of the $30 chinese knock off ones from ebay. If you do, let me know if they work! lol
