I love my fog lights on my Expeditions, like most other guys and women. But not available on active. You have to do some clever ordering and your own separate wiring circuit with switches. IMG_5766.jpgIMG_5766.jpg

Looks great. I’d love to see a nighttime photo if you have one.

That’s great! I tried for a year to figure out something on my previous ‘22 XLT and just gave up. Not sure why they make it so difficult.

Looks good. What did you do for the switch? And what did you spend to make it all happen?

Cost was about $500 overall. You need to order bezels and fog lamps to fit '23 Expedition through Ford. They may want a vin#. Then wire using aftermarket fog light wiring kits to include relay and fuse to 12v slot in fuse panel. This will be completely separate from OEM light switches and power. I don't think you can patch in to new Expedition wiring ....that is all digital stuff...not to be messed with. For switches I used old school heavy duty toggles. I will post pictures in a day or so. Not easy to do, as i said but worth it. The raptor lights are wired to a slot in the fuse box that is hot when the key is on. Get a lot of LOOKS.... and comments in parking lots etc. Some people know those lights are not Factory and wonder how'd you get those on an Expedition. More details to follow.

At the time I was ordering they weren't available yet for '25 Tremor. Too new....May 25. By the way, the bezels must be replaced to accept the lamps.( Kinda a real pain ) Know a body shop guy? Doing them on a lift would be great. I didn't. Do all the body shop/parts one day....wiring and switches the next. More pics coming.

You can try it. I'm done with mine. You sound much more lerned than I. My "old school simple" worked. AND WORKS! Your process will still require new bezels, lamps, wiring and a lot of work. Good luck.

Sorry for the duplicate pics. A few should be helpful. Oh yeah.....I like my black badging and BLUE calipers. Again, a lot of work, but worth it to me.

Your friendly moderator fixed it for you. ;)

Yes, they look nice. You can buy caliper covers. One site I looked at had them in red, white, blue, yellow, and black. Not sure what impact they might have on brake dust or brake cooling.

Been there, done that, (21 and 23 Expos) not paying over $300 for caliper covers again. No one had them available for 2025 Active Max back in May anyways. Just cost me for can of brake kleen, 1 can of Blue Caliper paint and 1 can clear Caliper Gloss. NO IMPACT on brake cooling or dust in the past. Preparation and patience is the key as always when painting. Ask a Pro. Oh yeah.... 3 coats blue / 3 coats clear.

Another oh yeah... There is no OEM light switch on '25 Expedition. Must go through center touch screen, only. Ask an owner.

Hey Denny, any chance you have a parts list? A total of 4 parts? the left and right bezels and left and right fog light is that all?

Id be happy if the fogs just wired directly to the headlights.....so to speak. If the lights are on, the fogs are. I always did the bambi forscan mod anyhow, so my fogs would always be on with all headlights. Can imagine a time when i wouldnt want them on.

If the '25 is like the 23 & 24 there is no 12V switched feed to the headlights to tap for anything. The 12V is always hot and is switched through the CAN computer system by a module inside the headlight assembly. Nothing electrical is easy in these trucks.

This is why the OP ran new switches for his 12V. He had a good reason. You can mess with Forscan to activate the switch on the screen and add the missing wiring to feed your new lights from the Body Control Module but you are guessing and it may not work or you may mess something up.

In the 2024s, just installing fog lights in the riveted-together bumper cover is a beast of a job. The whole bumper cover has to come off and come apart and then be riveted back together... Lots of snaps and stuff.

I did a write-up on how to install without using switches. Definitely worth a read!
