Has anyone had any luck with finding any factory underbody shields yet, since certain model Expeditions only comes with the front one?
Mine is a Platinum and only came with the front radiator cover. I ordered the one that was supposed to fit, (JL1Z 7222 C). The front mounts perfectly fine, and even the molded curves and bumps line up with the obstacles, but it looks like the back 2 bolts need brackets, since the cover is not wide enough to mount to the frame.
I found brackets but not one dealer can tell me if they will work.
All the websites claim it is the proper shield/cover, but the dealers ask for the VIN and then say no, it won't fit.
I spoke directly with Ford yesterday and the parts tech said he does not understand why multiple Ford parts websites show it fits, but the VIN comparison claims no.

I replaced the factory felt one on my Tremor with the steel transmission cover https://ford.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/ford-under-body-shield-transmission-nl1z5d032d The benefit of the steel cover is it has an access panel. (3) 10mm screws and you can drain the oil. The felt one feels like it will be damaged after a couple of years of oil changes. Attached are images of the rear mounting brackets I removed after taking off the felt shield. The steel one is wider and attaches directly to the frame were these bracket are mounted.IMG_4327.jpeg

If you still want to go with the felt cover, send me a DM with your info and I'll send you my brackets.

Perhaps a 4X4 site or magazine. I've seen rock slider's made by different companies advertised.

Thank you very much, I sent you a DM.
That shield is unfortunately discontinued according to Ford today.
The felt shield for me is fine as I drain from the top with a Vevor oil extractor, (Vevor Oil Sump). I hook up my air compressor, and it sucks out all the oil except a few drops in a couple of minutes.

I'm not sure where I got the link for the shield, but it is on Ford's website Underbody Shield. Kind of pricey, but much better built.
It is definitely a nice shield at another level for sure. That would be great for off road. I called Ford today and spoke to a parts tech. He said it has been out of stock, and he thinks it's discontinued.

You might be well served by looking up the 4th Generation's five skid plates ( behind bumper with two brackets, under motor, under trans, transfer case and under fuel tank) and cross reference them on the Ford parts site to see if they fit the 2025 and 26 models. There are good writeups with photos and part numbers on this site... ,

I did. I cross checked all the shields and was on the phone with sales at 3 different ford parts sites and 1 Ford corporate service manager, and they said they go by VIN. And there are no shields listed for GEN 5 Expeditions and 4th GEN will not fit.
Funny thing is it took my local parts manager, at Walker Ford, to laugh and say: The reason the VIN shows no shields for GEN 5 Expeditions, is because they normally don't come with any shields except the radiator front shield. He said he was miffed by the fact that 3 Ford parts website sales conversations and 1 corporate manager conversation led me to the fact that no shields fit, when in fact they should all fit, with proper hardware. Let me clarify that all Ford part's websites show all the shields fitting the 2025/2026 Expedition. But when you call to verify, they ask for the VIN and say no.

Ford dealers need a VIN to look up parts. If you give them your VIN and your rig did not come with what you want they say it will not work, they can only see what you have. Find a 25-26 on a lot with the shields or here on this forum and give them that VIN, all the part numbers will show up. It is that simple.

I replaced the diaper on my Tremor with an aftermarket steel plate from my 2021 F150. Perfect fit. So, there's a solid chance you could cross shop F150 stuff which should offer a lot more options. I would share the product I have but it appears the fabricator is no longer making them.

It turns out most Ford parts reps I spoke to have no idea the same undercarriage panels that fit the GEN4 Expeditions fit the GEN5 Expeditions. You just have to make sure you have all the bolts and brackets.
A HUGE THANK YOU to @34bwood for sending me his no longer needed brackets. My new shield that I was told would not fit, did fit perfectly. I immediately noticed a quieter interior when driving on noisy roads, not to mention some sort of protection from debris.
