03 5.4L Oxygen sensor replacement question
I used Bosch when I replaced the ones in my 05. That was 4+ years ago. No issues with Bosch here. I also used Bosch when I replaced my fuel pump.- 05-Alive-515

This has to be the highest priced 2nd gen in the country.
Did anyone click on the carfax link? I find the asking price hilarious considering the damage it’s had. And agree you can find a decade newer with similar mileage for that price.- 05-Alive-515

Ford lied about when they stopped using these plugs. I had the engine replaced in 2010 under warranty. The engine had a 2010 reman date. A few years ago I changed the plugs and had 3 of them break on me. The Lisle tool made easy work of getting them out.- 05-Alive-515

a4wd is not come on dashboard
My 05 does not have a dash light for A4WD. I have owned this since 05 and don’t ever recall there being a light for that mode. There is a light for 4x4 mode.- 05-Alive-515

rear wiper/washer mystery
I just replaced my 3rd brake light and spent 5 minutes trying to figure out why the front wipers would work but the back wouldn’t. It ended up being that I had the rear glass window popped/unlocked/open however you want to call it. I closed the glass and it started working again. Maybe there is...- 05-Alive-515

New Cats?
A few years back I replaced both cats in my 05 with a couple of generic 2.5” magnaflow ones. I think they were about $75/ea and paid local muffler shop to do the work. At the time I had them put a flowmaster muffler on at the same time. All in I think it was about $200 labor.- 05-Alive-515
