Pay attention to the pads some sets have an inner and outer. One set (I can't remember which) has two raised locating nipples. Depends on manufacturer, some have them some don't . Otherwise they are identical.
Did phasers, chains with cast iron early tensioners, followers and pump on a 4.6l.
There are a few tools that make job easier (see you tube videos).parts are same between both except chains and maybe guides 5.4l chains are longer. I think 4.6l has one black link and 5.4l has two or vice versa ...
Were you in 4H or 4L?
Traction control doesn't work in 4L.

Some break pads (depends on manufacture I think.) have an Inboard and outboard pad. They look almost identical, can't remember which, but one set has raised locating pins (Is possible newer versions of pads don't have this).

Changed our 2010 arm to the earlier type and never looked back, can go to walmart or any other place that sells blades pick 13 inch standard Replacement and done cheaper and easy.
