    Are you trying this with the car off? One time, mine didn't go down until I started the engine and then it worked. It could be a weak 12V battery.

    FordPass App reports car going into PowerSave Mode. Same for Owner's Dashboard on Ford.com website. You lose Vehicle Location and other functions of the App. Just hook up the weak battery to a tender when parked. All functions return to Normal when battery returns to fully charged state.

    A lot of this comes down to brand loyalty. We rode in a long wheelbase GMC Yukon(?) and I thought the ride was awful. At the time, Jeep only had the standard wheelbase, though I think that's corrected now.

    How many miles on her? Just change the rear diff lube. Have you tried drive mode gravel/grass/snow to see if there's a whine from the front diff too? In this mode, the front diff is always providing torque to the fronts. You can see it if you go to the off-road power distribution display.

    On my car, if I don't keep the battery on a trickle charger, the AS/S will not engage due to battery charging. My drives are short, less than 20 miles one-way so driving never fully charges the battery. Kind of a poor man's AS/S delete!
