98 4.6 heat issues
okay, temp control knob moves from cold to hot but feels like about 2/3 way just springs forward. front core hoses are hot/cold after starting and warm up, both are hot while driving, but when stopped for extended period one is hot and the other is cool to warm.... any ideas???- 98ExpyinIA

98 4.6 heat issues
Replaced front heater core 18 months ago, both hoses are warm and not overly hot, when sitting air is cool and when driving it is warmer but not like it should be. position selector works for vent, defrost, etc but the temp control feels weird. no heat out of rear at all........- 98ExpyinIA

replaced the drivers side coil pack and it is running better but still misses and backfires and no power up hills, getting better mileage though. still can't get #4 plug out, afraid i will snap it off (its not one of those 3 part plugs the 3v heads use)...- 98ExpyinIA

No heat
98 Expy 4.6 4x4, changed heater core last winter. Now have very little heat out front and none in rear. Noticed the temp selector feels wierd during rotation. front heater hoses feel about the same. Not losing antifreeze.- 98ExpyinIA

No, but it doesn't matter if it gets wet or not... Out still jumps and sputters and backfires, fumes burn the eyes sometimes, I use 1/4 tank of gas in40 miles (extended tank). It sometimes tries to accelerate normal but just gets very erratic ....- 98ExpyinIA

Had a significant miss several months ago. changed plugs all but #7 (unable to remove) and wires. Ran fine. Heard loud hiss like vaccum leak and found pcv valve hose was cracked near pcv valve. splice it back and cleaned a real gunked up pcv valve. Now significant miss again with loss of power...- 98ExpyinIA
