Thanks It seems a bit more than I need. Basically I have decided to run the Bendix pads unless someone had some positive things to report about running ceramic pads (other than low dust).- Capri331

Underdrive pulleys
1st of all the $300 seems steep for under drive pulleys. I think the MAC ones are around $150. I run under drives on my car. They were the 1st mod I did and I noticed a seat of the pants feel increase. I also noted a MPH increase in the 1320 which translated to more HP. I myself have never...- Capri331

It's not the "brand" I am concerned about because I am confident that either brand is decent. I want good reliable braking when I am towing the snowmobiles and possibly in the future an open car trailer with a mustang bracket car. Towing with my 00 Expy?
Do you have the owners manual? I believe I checked mine and it stated that our 2000 with a 4.6, 16" wheels and 3.55 gears could handle 5500# I can verify that if you want me to.- Capri331

4.6L Undedrive Pulleys...belt length?
I want to do a cat back too. I just found one on eBay, it's a FlowTech system. Buy It Now is $110 that is a huge savings. My wife most likely won't go for the thoaty muffler on "her" Expy so if you want it go for it. I will have to tell you though, if it doesn't get any bids I am snagging it.- Capri331

4.6L Undedrive Pulleys...belt length?
BrenSpeed has the MAC Performance brand for a little less than direct through MAC. I have MAC pulleys on my Capri and have been happy with them. BrenSpeed seems to be the only place I can find selling MAC pulleys for Expeditions, can't even find them on eBay.- Capri331

Tight fit or not I am willing to bet that Texas doesn't have near the problem we have in our snow and salt region.
