Brake Pad Choices ~ what to use?

Thanks It seems a bit more than I need. Basically I have decided to run the Bendix pads unless someone had some positive things to report about running ceramic pads (other than low dust).

    Underdrive pulleys

1st of all the $300 seems steep for under drive pulleys. I think the MAC ones are around $150. I run under drives on my car. They were the 1st mod I did and I noticed a seat of the pants feel increase. I also noted a MPH increase in the 1320 which translated to more HP. I myself have never...

Brake Pad Choices ~ what to use?

It's not the "brand" I am concerned about because I am confident that either brand is decent. I want good reliable braking when I am towing the snowmobiles and possibly in the future an open car trailer with a mustang bracket car. The car trailer will have brakes of it's own, the 2 place sled...

    Towing with my 00 Expy?

Do you have the owners manual? I believe I checked mine and it stated that our 2000 with a 4.6, 16" wheels and 3.55 gears could handle 5500# I can verify that if you want me to.

Brake Pad Choices ~ what to use?

Hi guys & gals, I am about ready to do the brakes on my wife's Expy. I had planned on using Bendix Titanium II's front and rear with new rotors but I do have another option. I have been installing many "Friction Master" by Morse Ceramic pads from Advance Auto Parts. I was thinking of...

    4.6L Undedrive Pulleys...belt length?

I want to do a cat back too. I just found one on eBay, it's a FlowTech system. Buy It Now is $110 that is a huge savings. My wife most likely won't go for the thoaty muffler on "her" Expy so if you want it go for it. I will have to tell you though, if it doesn't get any bids I am snagging it.

    4.6L Undedrive Pulleys...belt length?

If you look at my previous post I have them hyperlinked as well as BrenSpeed. You'll find them a little less money from BrenSpeed.

    4.6L Undedrive Pulleys...belt length?

BrenSpeed has the MAC Performance brand for a little less than direct through MAC. I have MAC pulleys on my Capri and have been happy with them. BrenSpeed seems to be the only place I can find selling MAC pulleys for Expeditions, can't even find them on eBay.

    things to know about ...

Tight fit or not I am willing to bet that Texas doesn't have near the problem we have in our snow and salt region. The reason I know this is because the same thing happens to a few other car lines such as hyundai. I work for a used car dealer and Hyundai and Kias we have got from auction...

    4.6L Undedrive Pulleys...belt length?

I just bought a 2000 Expy 4.6L and I am wanting to install underdrives on it. Has anyone done this and how much shorter is the belt? Thx Capri 331
