How good are these? How much hp do they give(10 hp?) and is the HP gains worth the 200-300 dollars? Do they damage an engine parts?

i wouldn't use them in the south without going to electric fans. They just don't turn the water pump/fan fast enough at idle for those hot summers. The electric fans like the huge ones from Flex a Lite with the variable speeds would give more of a gain than the underdrive pullies driving the stock fan IMO. And your AC will blow ice even when driving slow.

1st of all the $300 seems steep for under drive pulleys. I think the MAC ones are around $150.

I run under drives on my car. They were the 1st mod I did and I noticed a seat of the pants feel increase. I also noted a MPH increase in the 1320 which translated to more HP. I myself have never experienced over heating problems with the UD pulleys and I use a stock rad in the Capri and stock fan. How this would work on an Expy in NW Pa, I am not sure.
