Fuel tank leak on '04 Eddie Bauer
@Mota32gd I took it to a mechanic friend and he was able to get a "new" tank from O'Reilly for a decent price. In looking at my old one, it was not only leaking on the seals, but was visibly cracked on the top. All three of the entry points on the top were also cracked at the seals. Yeah...- CountrySplatt

2006 Expedition- Need help shops can't figure out the issue
From what I have been seeing, there are a lot of issues with the coil packs being just garbage the last couple of years. Swapping the coil packs around cylinder 3 and testing, is the best advice I can see. After that, the 2 valve is VERY well known for cam phaser issues as low as 30k miles...- CountrySplatt

@texasscot That is Extremely helpful! Thank you!! Even after the replacement and a new pump, mine is still leaking. With your pictures, I feel much better about understanding what to do to "fix" it myself this time instead of paying another mechanic to do it wrong. :)- CountrySplatt

Engine Won't Turn Over
On my 2004 EB, I had to completely rebuild the positive terminal on the battery to get it to reliably start. Evidently, it will get warm and loosen, and then acid will eat through it in a jiffy. @Aspen03, I would check the wiring near the sensors in the back bumper, if you were worried about it. 2003 Eddie Bauer gas smell from back
I had the same issue.. Mine was MUCH more invasive, though. Park it on a downhill slope with the front of the truck facing downhill, make sure you have a full tank of gas. Look to see if you have gas dripping down. If you don't then, it is probably that vent hose, and it is clogged above...- CountrySplatt

Check engine light on p0356
Yeah, mine required a Hard Clear from a mechanic to stay gone. Most of the OBD readers at Auto Parts stores only do a soft clear, from what I was told. Took mine to a mechanic friend at a shop, and he told me that and cleared the code for me for free and it has been gone for about 2000 miles.- CountrySplatt

I am the 2nd owner of our 2004 Expy, and literally haven't done much more than change the oil on ours (AC Compressor and Gas tank replacement being the whole list).
