'03 Engine Upgrade
Only 90K on my 4.6L '03 but am thinking of what I will do when the engine starts to tire. As I see it, there are two options: 1. Rebuild and upgrade 2. Replace OEM engine with crate motor. I am inclined to go with #1 as I am not sure if there is a crate motor that is a direct "bolt in"...- djljr

Coil Spring Isolators-Replace or Reuse?
I meant to take photos and measure the isolators while I had them out but spaced it out. There are a lot of universal isolators and probably one that will work but you would need to know shape, thickness, ID and OD. Done-Eibach Springs/Sway Bar and Bilsteins
I installed the Eibach Pro-Plus kit that included front and rear sway bars/bushings and yes, the handling is a significant improvement over stock. Next upgrade will be the engine; the 4.6 is light in the loafers on the torque side but I will be fixing that once I figure out exactly what I need...- djljr

I can't say for sure but from looking at the picture of the rear air shock, it looks to me like you need the top retainer and isolator. Perhaps another forum member that has made this swap will weigh in but if I was making the swap, I think I would hit a junk yard and pull the rear shocks from...- djljr

The isolators are in good shape; no need to replace. Did you shorten the bump stops? No instructions to do so but it would seem with shorter springs, bump stops should be trimmed?- djljr
