    Calling a CAMPERS

I use the Hensley Arrow. This type of hitch is a must for towing a long trailer. Weight is less of an issue. The sway comes from how much wag your tail can have. As for the loads, i absolutely swear by the Rancho Quick Lift system. Not only more travel, but heavier spring rate, beefier...

    Baja Forged Rear Bumper Guard

Also looks like those tires will rip the front fenders off when they straighten them out again. I run 35s on my 3rd gen (which has a couple inches of suspension lift) and I had to recip the front of the running boards, use a heat gun to re-form the bumper skirt and wheel liners, and they STILL...

    Biggest Trailer

I think the Hensley or Pro Pride should be mandatory for large trailers. As the saying goes, they are not anti-sway systems, but sway elimination systems. I would never tow again without one. You simply cant believe the difference. The only danger now, is forgetting you have almost 5 tons behind...

Vids on YouTube about the 5.4 Triton Make Me Want To Back Out of this Purchase

I've got an '11 with 250,000 km on it. It plows all winter, tows our 10,000 er, I mean 9200# 34 foot triple slide TT all summer (with a Hensley Arrow hitch, obviously). It's also my daily driver, grocery getter and kids team transport. So far, I've replaced a coil pack (last year) and a...

Any high performance radiators for these things? And electric fans?

Great info regarding the rad. Re having the AC come on automatically, take it fron a Canadian, its a function worth its weight in gold. THe worst part of winter for me, back in the age of dinosaurs, was having cars without A/C. In order to clear the windows in a non-AC car, you had to wait for...

    New engine install 2011 Expedition

Ok. I'll ask: what's a Jasper? And if not a Jasper, then who?

How much can I really tow safely

And we comfortably tow all summer long with our 2011 hauling a 9000# passport elite 34MB. Our first and only upgrade was the Hensley Arrow with HD bars. My problem now is ensuring that I watch my speed. It tows so effortlessly and smoothly under all condotions that you need to remind yourself...

"Thunder" 1998 Expedition Build Thread .... fixed pics!!

Just wondering if the headers you used were custom bent or originally made for f150 fitment? Can't imagine you found a set actually made for expedition. Have an '11 and was hoping to do something similar. Would have PMd you but can't find the tab on my phone app

Anyone towing a 26+’ enclosed trailer with their 4th Gen?

Actually, I could never figure out why people thought they were hard to hook up. I prepared for that aspect when bought mine, but quickly discovered that it's easier to hook up single handed than a ball.

Anyone towing a 26+’ enclosed trailer with their 4th Gen?

We should start a hensley/propride thread - get people's feedback and tips/tricks and comments. I think it would be good for current owners and invaluable for potential new ones

Anyone towing a 26+’ enclosed trailer with their 4th Gen?

A bit pricey but worth you and your families life to have it, if not just your truck and trailer!

Anyone towing a 26+’ enclosed trailer with their 4th Gen?

Pro pride is actually made by the fellow who originally designed the hensley, so it has a small host of engineering improvements - not that either are anything less than phenomenal!

Anyone towing a 26+’ enclosed trailer with their 4th Gen?

Anyone else here using a hensley? Passing 18 wheelers dont even register. Not trying to shamelessly plug a minor, but I think they should be mandatory! Total game changers. Power and braking aren't our issues, but Expeditions are relatively short dogs so a long tail needs to be well controlled

Anyone towing a 26+’ enclosed trailer with their 4th Gen?

Just FYI, I tow an 8800 GVWR 34' passport elite TT. I use the Hensley Arrow hitch assembly . Sway is utterly a non issue and the 5.4 is just simply amazing. We dont live in the Rockies, by any means, but we have our share of hills . The truck cruises at 60 without breaking a sweat and all but...

Added tow mirrors to a 2016 XLT

PS was looking into a steel winch bumper like the one you have (less the hoop) but was concerned about loosing the lower cooling inlets. I tow a rather large TT and am concerned about any reduction in inlet air to rads. Any opinions on that?
