Turns out that it was a bad alternator the whole time. ♂️ Replaced the bad one with a new bad one♂️- DV314

Fuel pressure is good. The code is gone. 1st thing to go is all electrical systems. If I let up in time the motor keeps running and the electrical portion starts again. It's like I turned the Ignition off then on♂️- DV314

Finally checked everything. No broken wire, no ground issue. Don't even have a check engine light. Could the alternator voltage be too much? The manufacturer recommended replacement was 110v or 130v for the 4.6l.....if my memory is correct. I chose the 130v and a deep cycle battery because of...- DV314

@Hamfisted.... Thanks for the tip. Sure enough, the wire was rubbed through. I taped it up then used a bundle tie to suspend it. Hit the road and the same thing is happening- DV314

P0320 (DTC) for "Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction". I have replaced the crankshaft positioning indicator and the camshaft positioning indicator. I also have a brand new alternator and a brand new battery. I have no trouble during normal operation...... the truck can...- DV314
