FS, Four USED (4) .25 of an inch Bora Spacers aluminum spacers

FS, Four USED (4) .25 of an inch Bora Spacers aluminum spacers. I ran these after my lift in '21 for a bit less than 15K and NEVER had a problem with balance, tracking, vibrations, etc. They gave me just enough clearance not to rub when tucked. If you are lifted, this will help to 1) increase...

    Anyone Running Modded/Different Front Bumpers?

Anyone Running Modded/Different Front Bumpers? I've mildly modded my front bumper by removing the valence, removing the Weathertech mud guards, and cutting the clips and tucking in the wheel wells (front) to fully clear my 34.3 Nittos. Wanted to see if anyone else had done some major cutting or...

    UCA question

LCAs are fine. Also, UCA bear no heavy weight they are there for allignment through the suspension arc. The LCA supports the weight of the truck. *I am no expert, and learning as much as I can about IFS and IRS as I can* NOTE THESE ARE ALL GEN4 Specs: I believe the front suspensions "bump...

    UCA question

FYSA: By adding things like longer shocks or coil spacers, you will bottom out even sooner b/c you have already maxed almost 2/3rds of your downward travel by simply raising your vehicle. My 2 inch shock lift bottoms out my front UCA on my spring. That means it does so FOR EVERYONE lifted...

    UCA question

What type of lift are you using? If I had to guess, I'd say "yes" but this is based on if you plan on ever having your supsension at full droop.

First Gen Qs on Lifting, Etc...

Thank you for your response. But why do I have to replace the front diff? I am aware I need a gear set for F/R and they will be two different sizes. I have no intentions of adding a blower, and well aware the truck has no beans even when stock lol. I would keep it N/A, and simply regear it.

First Gen Qs on Lifting, Etc...

Hey guys, I am an old time first gen'er --1997,1998, 2000... but never went with much mods on them. Found a super clean, one owner, 1999 XLT 5.4/4x4/tow package and 199K on the clock for $5K. Looking to build a heavier duty 4x4 machine and wondering your thoughts if it's a good place to...

Well, Now I know Why Control Arm Hits Coil.

Yeah--Ford does everything on the cheap and I think the Timberline is no different. I mean the tires are thinner and only .5 of an inch taller than the outgoing FX4. I think 2.25 inches is very fine (ICON), and Bilsteins are safe at 1.6 inches of lift and then you will need UCAs (though...

Well, Now I know Why Control Arm Hits Coil.

Been watching a lot of supension videos lately as I struggle for a little more lift while perusing the King/ICON/Rough Country choices. I wanted to learn the good and the bad. Some of the below may be a bit pedestrian for you folks with more suspension knowledge, but I figured the more I know...

    Suspension Nerd Alert

Suspension Nerd Alert Found this Toyota guy who really drills down in explaining and showing a lot of suspension, coil, control arm, etc. data in easy to understand terms. It is still pretty geeky, but it really was beneficial for me on why my Gen4 lift does what it do... Anyway, I thought I'd...

Any 1-2 Inch Rear Coil Spacer Lifts?

There are several reasons I do not want my truck "leveled" and prefer the slightly nose down rake. From aeros, to handling, to towing, to loaded with gear, etc. If your truck is 100% leveled when it is stopped, under accelration and engine load/torque it can actually nose up a bit as well... I...

Any 1-2 Inch Rear Coil Spacer Lifts?

Thank you, I corrected it. What I need is 3 inches in the rear to keep the factory rake for loads and towing...
