had the same issue with my 17 f150, the APIM is the computer that controls all of the touch screen and bluetooth functions. I'm now on my 3rd one in 5 years and 220k miles. replaced them at 65k, 120k so far.
Thank you, I’m not worried about installing the pro back up assist, I’ve used it one time just to play with it in my truck and don’t see a reason to add it to the expedition that will pull a trailer twice a year.
I unplugged and plugged back in and it reset. it now works as it should but haven't had it out of the garage. she will try it tomorrow for a couple hour trip and see how it does.
Thanks for the help, we have started having similar issues with ours. She has started writing each time what happens and when to find a pattern. Hopefully can get the bugs worked out. Our passenger tv has now been on for two hours with the car tuned off but left unlocked in the garage. Will...
Just wanted to summarize the three parts needed for anyone searching in the future, thank you Doug for putting this together. I'll call and order in the morning and get it in and programmed when we take ours back for them to correct a few issues.
We had to talk with ford play when we picked ours up about an unrelated issue and they mentioned a connection under the seat. I never looked for it but worth a shot
