Mine was changed out when my transmission went bad (not related I know). After trans replaced it still wasnt running right so they replaced filter. Turns out the pump had failed but hey filters are cheap. One less 07 problem.
I agree with 17s. They are easier to find a good deal on just about any tire you choose and best for the reasons already mentioned. The general rule in tire size is less rubber in it means more expensive. Ask anyone who has had 20s and 17s.
I have a battery tender 10w solar 12v charger and I like it. I use it on my optima yellowtop which is agm and leave it on the hood or bed all day. It has a charge controller built in and 10watts is kind of impossible to charge too fast.
My 07 is the same way. Wont fit my ESS ice without getting stuck. Im thinking of going to junkyard and ripping the whole thing out of another 3rd gen and seeing if I can make the 2 compartments work as 1.
Help! Did anyone measure their winch mount? I have contact ICI, Rough Country and the other guy with the boxed fairlead and none of them have dimensions and cant provide them. I need to know the height difference between the mount legs and the winch plate. In other words the height difference...
I got falken wildpeaks on my GMC truck and they are E rated but its a 6" lifted old beast that rides like a stagecoach anyways so durability was my main concern. That thing hits river washouts like a champ.

Oldpaddy I dont think there is necesarily a link between the two in your case. Lots of factors involved. 17-18" wheels are generally regarded as the best all around size when you consider cost of tires, available options, rolling resistance(aka weight of wheel + tire), ride comfort, effect on...
