    I am looking for a website or parts house that would sell just the front coil over conversion kit from air to gas shocks. I have found the conversion kits at Strutmasters but its the whole kit and i only need the front coil over shocks. Any ideas?

    I have a 5 lug lug pattern. I would have to figure out how much it would cost to ship the wheels and are they in good shape? The ones i have now are corroded and the finish coat has been chipping off...(car came from up north somewhere)

    cool deal. i was told by one of my buddys to use 10w-40 oil. I havent changed the oil yet. But I am assuming that it wouldn't be wise to use that type of oil? The ticking does go away eventually, seems like it takes a while though. Thanks again though.

    Air-ride pump sounds

    I have a 98 Expy XLT and i had the same problem..I dont do much hauling or pulling so I switched the air bags out for conventional springs. I put new shocks in the rear and got the springs from a junk yard. Both springs cost 25 bucks compared to $280 a piece from the parts house.

    Well I got my rear suspension fixed. Ended up going to pull a part and finding some coil springs and taking the air bags out. Had to replace the rear shocks too but it made a huge difference in the ride. On to the next project I guess.

    I have a 98 Expy XLT it has air ride suspension and now the rear bags have blown out. Anyone know if it would be possible to just put in a conventional suspension system meaning leaf springs and gas shocks, or a coil over system and what would be the cheaper route to go? Thanks for any info.
