    If your symptoms and issues are gone by simply doing a flush, and they don't come back, then I would say yes. You simply had fluid that was too worn out and thin to do its job.

Some people think changing the fluid on a transmission that has not been changed in a long time can make the transmission fail, but that doesn't make any sense.     I agree that the neutral safety switch could be an issue. Fortunately, if that's the issue, it's a pretty easy fix.     The place you purchase them isn't as important as what brand you purchase. You can get cheap junk on Rock Auto and Amazon, but you can also get high-quality parts from both of those places. You just have to pick a reputable brand rather than the cheapest thing out there.

    I have a 2013, and I've been happy with the air-conditioning. It's possible that if it's not cold at idle, that it may be slightly low on refrigerant.

    It's very easy to replace the coils. Unplug the electrical connector, remove the small bolt holding it in (probably 8mm or 1/4" head), and pull the coil up off the spark plug. Push the new one down over the spark plug, install the bolt, and plug the electrical connector back on. Easy peasy!

    Next time it won't start, listen for that click when you turn the key front. I know, it's really frustrating when a problem is intermittent. I have had issues like that as well.

    On my 05 expedition, the starter relay was in the passenger foot well on the right side below the dash. There was a cover that popped off and you could get to the relays. If you turn the key and you hear it click over there, then the relay is probably working. You could also swap a couple relays...

    Swap coils 5 and 6 and see if coil 6 still doesn't work. If you swap those 2, and then coil 5 isn't working but 6 is, then that confirms that it's a bad coil.
