Power running board upgrade?
My Expedition is a 2008 and these boards came off a 2008 Limited. The passenger side motor is weak and needs help going up. Maybe I’ll ask for motors off eBay for Christmas. Someone mentioned they paid $70 each.- Kevin08

Paint the air dam black?
Just swapped the gold fixed running boards to OEM power steps. They came off a 2008 Limited same body color as my 2008 King Ranch. So I’m not painting them gold. Actually would rather paint the rest of the gold on it to the newer trim color. Should I paint the air dam under the bumper black... -

I think you’re asking the same thing I did. Wish someone would answer us. The motors are 5 wire. Two are the motor 12 volt positive and negative wires. The others are for communication with the module. The power boards can be operated manually by reversing polarity on those two main motor...- Kevin08

They work. Just needed to be cleaned and lubed. A buddy put the drivers side on. I’ll worry about wiring up a controller later. But feel free to answer my question about an aftermarket control module. Thanks.- Kevin08

Tire Pressure Sensor for 2008 Expedition
I went to the tire shop yesterday and had the new tires put on. It appears my 08 had the band type. I’ll just have to live with resting the tpms warning at every start up. Is this blue wire a +12V only when braking? I might as well rewire it all for 7 pin. I plugged my trailer in today and the parking lights are inop. Is this the part number for all 08 or did Ford have different sensors within that year model? My 08 was manufactured in September 07. Can the system read a 5th sensor to monitor the spare?- Kevin08
