I went with the 3-year NAPA hub. Finally found the connector after removing the inner fender liner and feeling around on the bottom of the inner fender.
I ended up replacing the hub. Got everything installed, but spent the last couple hours hunting for the harness connection for the abs sensor, but can't find it. Does this thing tend to go into hiding?
I purchased it locally. Unfortunately it can't be returned because my son-in-law used a hammer and screwdriver to 'convince' the sensor to fit. I'd normally do the work, but injured my thumb and am benched for awhile. I'll use the VIN on a search to see if it mkkes a difference.
I'm replacing the LF abs sensor on my '04 XLT. It turns out that the pickup on the old sensor is completely different from the new one - the old one is a cylinder, the new one is about 1/4" longer and rectangular. The cable length and rubber retention points are the same on both old and new...

I have an 04 XLT with manual climate control. Adjusting the temp control has no effect on the air temp out of the vents with or without the a/c engaged. Using the Max a/c setting does put out cold air. I don't hear any noises under the dash when adjusting the temp control.

My 04 Expy has a slow leak from the rear diff cover gasket, and I'm finally getting around to doing the repair. Searches haven't given me any info on what's involved in removing the cover. Could somebody give me an idea of how much of a headache I'm in for ?
