Longer shocks aren't really needed unless you go over 3" of spacer but wouldn't hurt. The current shocks usually have about 6 to 10" of travel at stock length. Once you get the spacers in place and bolt the shocks back up, the spacers can't come loose even if the frame is lifted with a car jack...
The console with factory CD player removed. I will probably mount a new CD changer in here though. Center console is ready to be put back togeather! thanks. Scott
New sterio installed in dash
Well, after spending the day removing the center console, routing wire and finally getting to the point where I could snap the radio adapter in the dash, my Lanzar SVTV64 in finally up and running! Awsome sterio! I tested it over and over as I advanced to the...
I have read in many places that there are ongoing problems with the EXPY CD systems. Disk gets stuck, won't eject, etc. Good luck with yours. I have a system( Lanzar SVTV64 ) w/LCD 6.4" T.V. and wondered the same about the CD players integrating to non CD systems but it looks like all plug and...
Until I post more photos of the progress and if you want more photos of anything I am doing just let me know. A radio swap is easy to do and yes, the harness connectors are right on the money and the color code matched perfectly. Also, the colored wires are stamped with what they are used for, R...
More photos......And it appears that the sides of my center console are removable so I may not have to remove the entire console to route my cables and wiring! Anyone know this to be fact? Thanks. Scott V.
1991 Lanzar SVTV64 LCD/radio build

And the winner is.............. :D ...OK, just got off the phone with a Scosche Tech and I explained that I am ready to install my radio and just wanted to make sure I didn't have a better route to save my dashfrom being cut up. The tech explained that the radio had to go on the bottom and I...
Thanks, that is what I thought I might have to do. I figure I could Dremmel the plastic wedge out but, was afraid of hurting the integrity of the plastic strength/ bracing. Seems to be strong and with a metal framing above it anyway. I will call the company ( Scosche) one more time and make sure...
I was wondering the same about the console install on my 99 Expy. I have two amps and I wanted to put them under the rear passenger seat but space is limited if seats are folded down. I will be removing my CD(stock junk) player and would like to place an amp on bothe sides inside the console...
I am installing the Lanzar SVTV64 in my 1999 Expedition. I have the sleeve in the adapter plate ready to go and my harness is ready to go. I have questions on whether my radio will slide all the way in on the top half of the opening though. The old radio is wedged shaped and deep at the...
