I have a 97 Expy EB with the stock 6 disc CD changer in the armrest and there are a couple of things that I need answered:

1. When I hit the eject button, the changer cartridge won't eject. I tried pulling it out while pushing the eject button and no go. Anything I can do to get it to eject?

2. I have an aftermarket LCD DVD CD player, and would like to use the CD changer for my other CDs. Is there a way to wire it to get it to work with my headunit? I have the Jensen UV10 DVD LCD CD player.

Thanks in advance.

I have read in many places that there are ongoing problems with the EXPY CD systems. Disk gets stuck, won't eject, etc. Good luck with yours. I have a system( Lanzar SVTV64 ) w/LCD 6.4" T.V. and wondered the same about the CD players integrating to non CD systems but it looks like all plug and no phono, etc jack , so I better give up while I'm ahead. I also believe you can play CD's on most DVD players too. Thanks. Scott

If it is similar to the Alpine cd changers you can get it to pop out with a creditcard or drivers license. Insert it under the cartridge on the bottom or drivers side. You will know when you hit the right spot.
