I have 29k on my 2018 and the shaking/vibration just recently got bad. Took it to tire place to get looked at and all 4 tires were badly cupped and it was out of alignment. Was not expecting to get new tires this soon! Frustrating.....
So just replaced all 4 tires that were cupped at 29k! Ugh had it aligned and tires changed and balanced. Still feels a bit bumpy. Could this all be due to bad shocks/struts???? 2018 Exp
Been a few months since last wash and approaching 1 year next week. 12k. Husbands says it can’t be rust bc it is aluminum so then it must be a paint defect?
So was just washing the SUV for the first time since winter and it looks like I might have a paint defect. Looks like little dots of rust everywhere except on the plastic bumper. It is the whole SUV and they will not come off!!!!!! See photo. Even the metal trim. Tailgate is the worst. Anyone...
It didn’t do it when brand new though. Started about 4 months after purchase and seems to be doing it every time now. Some times it is more of a jolt than other times. I would expect this to be a pretty smooth transition while my foot is on the brake...but maybe I am wrong. Just seems really rough.
Did you ever get this resolved? Mine is fixed. The dealer wanted to remove the windshield and see if the seal was broken. I didn’t like that idea so I sprayed some WD40 along the seal on the outside of the windshield in the area I heard it and I haven’t heard it now for 2 months!!!! I was...
Anyone else notice that when you put the SUV from Park to Reverse it is not always a smooth transition? Never have this issue in my husband’s F150. Brake is fully applied and it jolts a bit while trying to get into gear. Hate to bring it to the dealer for the day and waste my time.
Thanks. I just don’t ever remember my past SUVs rolling as much. My kids keep making comments on how it is like their school bus. I know there were recent recalls on the transmission pin so I am wondering what exactly would be normal. Thanks again for replying!
So I have discovered that it will not make the sound when it is raining out. So when it was dry out and making the noise I threw water all over the side driver door window and front windshield.....it made it stop for the whole day!!!! So very strange.
i have noticed that after I turn off the SUV and take my foot off the brake that I have a pretty good roll forward when on a very slight uneven surface. If I put the parking brake on there is none however. Is this normal?
