    Reduction in MPG

I'd recommend doing some research before stating outdated opinions with such confidence. Here let me help get you started: https://youtube.com/shorts/xRglHB_0nTU

    Reduction in MPG

What about stuck or partially stuck piston rings? With all of those miles it's a definite possibility. I'd highly recommend the new Valvoline Restore and Protect oil, which is proven to remove deposits. I've been using it for a while and mine runs like new.

    Custom tow mirrors for cheap

We recently purchased a travel trailer so I needed some towing mirrors to drive it safely. I looked around and found that there we not really any good options for this generation, unfortunately. There are some after market replacements but they're expensive and I don't want huge mirrors all the...

    Mishimoto aftermarket transmission cooler

We recently purchased a travel trailer and I wanted to get the Expedition ready for a long trip, so I changed the transmission fluid, filter, and added a Mishimoto aftermarket transmission cooler to replace the stock unit. As it turns out, it fits perfectly into the stock location, no...

    Urgent request

Sounds like it could be a bad valve body lead frame or bad solenoid connectors. Check out this video https://youtube.com/watch?v=4Ng3HJdyyoM

2012 With 113k Miles Timing Job Already?

If it's just a rattle on startup, the failure is probably one or both chain tensioners. Specifically, the weak rubber gasket fails and it can no longer build and hold pressure to keep proper chain tension. Now, I can't say whether or not it's worth only replacing the tensioners or if you might...

    Triton 5.4L 3V Engine Reliability

Car Wizard is a die hard "GM guy." He also runs a youtube channel so he's going to say anything to get views and clicks so he can get paid. Is he 100% wrong? No, but he definitely blows the issues out of proportion.

    not having a good towing experience - 23' airsteam/5000lbs 500lb tongue weight

The only times I've ever had issues with trailer sway was when the tongue weight was too light. Readjusting the load has always resolved the problem, for me.

I replaced both factory amplifiers and subwoofer (with bonus wire colors / wiring diagram)

@BlackBetty11 - I cut some male RCA cables up that I already had and spliced them into the factory wires. Then plug that into an aftermarket amp. You can also buy RCA pigtails that are ready to splice: https://www.amazon.com/-/he/4321/dp/B0BRN57PZP For the subwoofer wires, the low level wires...

7,000 Pound Utility Trailer vs 7000 Pound Enclosed Trailer

It's a 1979 Ford 3600 48hp 3cyl 8sp diesel, general Ag tractor. Made in Highland Park, MI. It's pretty dirty but it was taken care of and runs surprisingly well. I don't really have any use for it so the plan is to clean it up, replace a few parts, and sell it to a new home. If I had any excuses...

7,000 Pound Utility Trailer vs 7000 Pound Enclosed Trailer

Funny this thread should pop up again. I just used my handy open trailer again this weekend to pick up another project!

Is my ‘14 going to fully charge an AGM battery?

I put an 850CCA AGM battery in my 2013 Exp exactly 2 years ago. I didn't do anything other than take the old lead acid battery out and put the AGM in. It has been working perfectly since then.

7,000 Pound Utility Trailer vs 7000 Pound Enclosed Trailer

I would use extreme caution when deciding to not use a WDH with a trailer over 6k lbs, as Ford requires. If there is an accident, you could be held liable even if it wasn't your fault because you were "negligent."...
