We recently purchased a travel trailer and I wanted to get the Expedition ready for a long trip, so I changed the transmission fluid, filter, and added a Mishimoto aftermarket transmission cooler to replace the stock unit. As it turns out, it fits perfectly into the stock location, no modification necessary!

I also replaced the problematic stock cooler lines. Basically just cut the 1/2in hard lines and added quality fittings and hoses instead.

The trip went very well. Transmission fluid temp reached a max of 203F in 85F weather going up and down all the hills in WI's highways.

- Several 8AN fittings.
